IndigoJazzlounge provides a swinging Advent concert: singer Inga Lühning, pianist Sebastian Gahler and Nico Brandenburg on bass bring jazz standards from the American songbook as well as specially arranged Christmas classics to the stage. The historic ambience of Garath Castle provides an appealing setting for this experienced, high-calibre jazz trio, while the evening also marks the return of the Garath Castle Concerts.

Inga Lühning is one of Germany's most distinguished singers and unites the musical worlds of jazz and pop. Her incomparable voice makes her an internationally sought-after artist. She has toured as a backing singer with the Fantastischen Vier and Marla Glen, developed a joint stage programme with Joachim Król and can be heard on the latest studio album by Tom Gaebel, among others. "Without singers like Lisa Bassenge, Inga Lühning, Linda Carriere and Joy Denalane, nothing would be possible!" (Focus 12/03)

Sebastian Gahler is a pianist, keyboardist and composer. His Sebastian Gahler Trio is a permanent fixture on the modern jazz scene and Gahler is regarded by critics as "one of the most fascinating jazz pianists in Germany" (Jazzthing). The award-winning musician has already released several CDs of his own compositions and arrangements and tours regularly with various bands in Germany and abroad.

Nico Brandenburg is a highly sought-after bassist who regularly performs in Germany and abroad. He has worked both at live concerts and in studio productions with a wide variety of artists and ensembles, such as the WDR Big Band, WDR Funkhaus Orchester, Germany tour with Lena Meyer Landrut, Max Mutzke, Tom Gaebel, Adam Nussbaum, Rafael Cortés etc.. In 2023 he recorded a new album with the Axel Fischbacher Trio at the renowned Abbey Road Studios in London.
