Siebenhaar’s simultaneous playing of the accordion and piano creates a sound that is uniquely their own, significantly expanding the possibilities for arrangement and improvisation. The accordion and piano become one! The trio captivates with its extraordinary dynamic range, from almost whispered sounds to highly voluminous ones, whether expressive or ultra-cool. Stylistically diverse, the programme ranges from world music of various cultures, through original compositions, to interpretations of pieces by the great accordionist Richard Galliano, the Beatles, Johann Sebastian Bach and the guitarist John Scofield.
