Kalunga is Raciel Estrade’s new project, blending the elegance of Latin jazz with the energy of funk to create music brimming with rhythm, groove and authentic descarga.
If you’re into rich grooves, improvisation and gripping live music, you won’t want to miss this premiere!

Every Tuesday: jam session at the Jazz-Schmiede. Whilst our sessions are usually Real Book sessions focusing on jazz standards, our new session format is all about salsa, rumba and everything Latin.

Here too, the evening kicks off at 8.00 pm with an opening concert set, followed by an open jam session from around 9.00 pm – anyone can simply turn up and join in to jam with other musicians and the opening band.

Admission is free, but we’d be grateful for any donations to support our sessions and the support act!
