The fourth instalment of the ‘Bayoogie Masters – the masters of blues and boogie’ music series once again promises the very best in handmade music. This time, organisers Christian Christl and Bastian Korn have invited the French grand seigneur of boogie piano: Jean-Pierre Bertrand from Paris. He is arguably the best-known boogie pianist in France, has worked with Memphis Slim and Sammy Price, directs countless boogie events as musical director, and loves the piano boogie of the 1930s and 1940s. Bastian and Benny Korn, the rock ’n’ roll twins from Essen, will also be getting the stage swinging. Last but not least, Christian Christl will be performing his vintage blues and boogie piano.
