Jan Schrüllkamp Quintet

The Jan Schrüllkamp Quintett is one of the most exciting new formations from the Ruhr region. The five musicians met while studying jazz together at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen and each of them has already worked in numerous different formations. The group combines classic jazz with modern sounds to create a unique sound world. Their music is characterised by improvisation and interactive playing styles, which makes every concert a unique experience.
