Constantin Krahmer Trio

Where is the piano trio currently heading as a classical jazz instrumentation? The Rostock pianist and composer Constantin Krahmer has made a clear statement on this and shows his very own approach to the piano and the piano trio. His sound world is reminiscent of Bill Evans, Paul and Carla Bley, Scandinavian jazz such as that of Jan Johansson or Christian Wallumröd, but also of Morton Feldman, and in places even of Joseph Haydn or Frederic Chopin. A must for piano trio lovers!
