Information on visiting the Jazz-Schmiede

Doors usually open (for concerts starting at 20:30 or 20:00) at 19:30, different opening times will be indicated separately.

Free choice of seats applies.
We are a jazz club, please note that only a limited number of seats are available. More tickets are sold - especially for highlight concerts - than seats can be offered. Tickets entitle to admission and are also valid for standing room. There is no entitlement to a seat. It is advised to arrive early to reserve the seat of your choice.

Presale / Booking yout ticket

It is not possible to reserve tickets by e-mail or telephone.
Please use our online booking service to purchase tickets in advance.

Methods of payment

Tickets and vouchers at our box office can be paid cash or by card.
The bar only accepts cash payment

Discounts / U18 free

The reduced ticket price applies to:
- members of Jazz in Düsseldorf e.V. (including one accompanying person)
- children, students, people doing federal voluntary service
- disability card holders (if entitled including one free carer ticket, we may ask for a valid documentation). Please send us a short informal email after purchasing your reduced ticket and we will issue the free carer ticket.

On presentation of the Düssel-Pass, a 50% discount on the normal price applies to all Jazz in Düsseldorf e.V.'s events (third-party events are excluded)

Visitors up to 18 years have free admission to Jazz in Düsseldorf e.V. concerts (Excluded are third-party events and events in the "On Stage" series).

Düsselpass discounts and U18-free tickets are available at the Schmiede box office, they cannot be booked online. Alternatively, please send us a short email enquiry to info@jazz-schmiede.de

Accessibility

The Jazz-Schmiede is (except for the stage) step-free and wheelchair accessible. There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor. Our bar is not accessible as it is approximately 1.20 metres high but you will be served at your place as well.

Our concerts usually take place in static, warm light. Stroboscopes or flickering light are not used. (Exceptions at the request of the artists are rare but possible)

Disabled people who are dependent on a companion do not pay admission for the accompanying person.

Film and sound recordings

Film, photo, audio and video recordings are generally not permitted. Requests for press or photo accreditation should be sent in advance by e-mail to info@jazz-schmiede.de.
