Three leading figures in European jazz come together on unfamiliar ground: János Ávéd, David Six and Tilo Weber blend early, classical and folk music into a modern avant-garde jazz that is unrivalled. The collaboration came about in 2022 at the Jazzahead! showcase in Bremen. Their music moves between epic rubatos and Indian rhythms, between free metres and haunting silences – always in search of what lies beyond the purely sonic. Created through a genuine co-writing process, each piece reflects the equal contribution of all three musicians.
