First jam session after the summer break – back every Tuesday from now on!

Every Tuesday: Jam session at the Jazz-Schmiede. The evening always kicks off at 8 pm with an opening set featuring different line-ups each week. Afterwards, from around 9 pm, there’s an open jam session – anyone can just turn up and join in to jam with other musicians and the opening band. Entry is free, making the sessions a great, hassle-free way to get to know the Schmiede.

Admission is free, but we’d be grateful for any donations to support our sessions and the support act!
Four musicians are depicted in black-and-white, striped cut-outs against a blue background, each playing a different instrument, including the saxophone, double bass and guitar. The image has a graphic style reminiscent of record covers, with a screen-print effect.
A jazz trio comprising piano, double bass and drums is performing on stage at the ‘Jazzschmiede’, whilst the musicians appear slightly blurred due to a long exposure. A large audience is watching the concert in the venue, which is bathed in atmospheric blue lighting.
