What does it sound like when sacred transparency meets clubby energy? The Landesjugendchor NRW dares to take exactly this step - and invites you to experience an extraordinary musical journey: "Cathedral & Club".

The choir stands for vocal range like no other: it sings classical music - clear, artful, sustained - just as naturally as jazz and pop - grooving, touching, surprisingly modern. But where does a concert take place that allows both? Churches often make pop seem alien; clubs don't give classical music the space it deserves. "Cathedral & Club" solves this dilemma.

Two rooms - one concert.

The evening begins in a church, where the choir opens up a sound space of resonance, silence and sublimity with works from classical choral music. After the interval, the programme continues - not only for the singers, but also for the audience: the concert hall moves. Together, the path leads to "Klub", where a second, completely different chapter begins with pop acapella, jazz arrangements and modern lightness.
A format that bridges boundaries - between tradition and the present, between listening and experiencing.
