Latin Jam Session – Zuin Sonero

ZUIN SONERO combines the lively energy of traditional Cuban music with the swing of jazz. The name says it all: "Zuin" - derived from the English "swing" - stands for playful movement and lightness, "Sonero" for the rich heritage of Cuban musical tradition. The result is a rousing mix of son, cha-cha-chá, bolero, guaracha and more - sometimes dynamic and danceable, sometimes intimate and narrative.

Every Tuesday: jam session at the Jazz-Schmiede. While our sessions are usually real book sessions and focus on jazz standards, our new session format is all about salsa, rumba and everything Latin.

The evening will also start at 20:00 with an opener concert set, followed by an open jam session from around 21:00 - anyone can simply come and join in to jam with other musicians and the opener band.
