The Kjetil Mulelid Trio is considered one of the most exciting formations in European jazz. International magazines such as The Wire, Jazzwise and All About Jazz rank the Norwegian trio among the leading piano trios of today, praising their style as "simply beautiful and beautifully simple" and seeing them "at the forefront of modern piano jazz".

Since its debut in 2017, the trio led by pianist Kjetil Mulelid, bassist Rune Nergaard and drummer Andreas Winther has been delighting audiences with a sound that combines Nordic calm and emotional depth with rhythmic energy and harmonic sophistication. Mulelid's compositions are poetic, transparent and at the same time full of tension - carried by an intense musical communication that captivates the audience.

After acclaimed performances at festivals in Vancouver and Ottawa and in jazz clubs from Munich to Tokyo, the trio now presents its new album - a masterpiece of Scandinavian sound art that combines elegance, virtuosity and soul.
