Jam Session – Majazztics

The young band consists of students from the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf and the Folkwang University of the Arts, among others. They play a mixture of swing and Latin and want to introduce their music not only to well-known jazz fans, but also to their generation.

Every Tuesday: Jam Session in the Jazz-Schmiede. The evening always starts at 8pm with an opener concert set with a different formation each week. Afterwards, from around 9pm, there is an open jam session - anyone can come and join in to jam with other musicians and the opening band. Admission is free, so the sessions are also a great opportunity to get to know the Schmiede in an uncomplicated way.
