PRISMA is the debut album by trombonist Clemens Gottwald (released on JazzThing Next Generation). Imaginative, melodious compositions meet tight ensemble playing and crisp improvisation. With his honest manner and broad stylistic openness, Clemens Gottwald expresses a musical spectrum on his trombone that ranges from Kid Ory to Albert Mangelsdorff. In gentle yet very definite coordination with his ensemble, PRISMA uses synergy effects to bring to light what was previously unheard.

New Faces is the newcomer series in the Jazz-Schmiede and presents young talents twice a month and perhaps the big names of tomorrow!
