The Kingaro Collective around singer, composer and bandleader Gosia Rogala seemingly effortlessly combines different worlds of sound: At times, their pieces bring rousing swing and blues vibes to life, at others they drift into groovy, pulsating rhythms.

Rogala's use of the voice is exciting: Sometimes she tells of longing, encounters and departure in poetic lyrics, sometimes her voice itself becomes an instrument - in artful vocalises it carries the melodies, floats above the harmonies and merges with the sound of the band.
