Simon Kuhn Quartet

The Simon Kuhn Quartet combines influences ranging from post bop and modern jazz to neo-classical music. The four expressive voices form a common sound when playing together and with a fine sense of dynamics, the band moves with great naturalness between compositional sophistication and improvisational freedom. The instrumentation offers a variety of tonal colours to set the scene for the band members' compositions, both edgy and spherical.
